Classes

Class Levels ...

 

Dance To Your Own Tune (Tots Ballet)   

Ages 2.5-4.  Basic ballet steps and creative movement.  Tots Ballet class introduce movements that help young children to develop their body, minds, confidence and ability to communicate and express.​

Pre-Primary In Dance (PPID)                                                                     
Ages 4-5.  Basic ballet steps and creative movement.  Pre-Primary in Dance class award. Twice a week required for RAD presentation class.



Primary In Dance (PID)
Ages 6-7. RAD Entry Level Award in Graded Examination in Dance: Primary in Dance. Basic techniques with little or no prior training. Twice a week required for RAD examination.



Grade 1
Ages 7 and up. RAD Level 1 Award in Graded Examination in Dance: Grade 1 (Ballet) Basic ballet technique with 2 years prior training. Twice a week required for RAD examination.

​Grade 2
Ages 7 and up. RAD Level 1 Award in Graded Examination in Dance: Grade 2 (Ballet) Basic ballet technique with 3 years prior training. Twice a week required for RAD examination. 

 

Grade 3
Ages 7 and up. RAD Level 1 Award in Graded Examination in Dance: Grade 3 (Ballet) with 3-4 years prior training. Twice a week compulsory.

Grade 4

Ages 7 and up. RAD Level 2 Award in Graded Examination in Dance: Grade 3 (Ballet) with 4 years prior training. Twice a week compulsory.

Grade 5

Ages 7 and up. RAD Level 2 Award in Graded Examination in Dance: Grade 5 (Ballet) with 5 years prior training. Twice a week compulsory.

Grade 6

Ages 11 and up. RAD Level 3 Award in Graded Examination in Dance: Grade 5 (Ballet) with 5 years prior training. Twice a week compulsory.



Intermediate 
Ages 12 and up. RAD Level 3 Certificate in Vocational Graded Examination in Dance: Intermediate (Ballet). Emphasis on pointe and intermediate dance steps. Twice a week compulsory.

Advanced 2

Ages 15 and up. Prerequisite of RAD Advanced 1 level. RAD Level 4 Diploma in Vocational Graded Examination in Dance: Advanced 2 (Ballet). Required a high skill on pointe and intensive classes are compulsory to achieve high standard. 
 

Adult Ballet Beginner

Non-syllabus based but are progressive. Classes will focus on body alignment, flexibility, strength, posture, grace, stamina, coordination. Classes will consist of a simple warm up, barre and centre work. An introduction to basic ballet positions, port de bras and ballet terminology. This class can be enjoyed by total beginners as well as dancers who have taken a break and wish to get back to ballet.
